一人一抽!H-1B 抽签改革火热出炉!

千呼万唤的H-1B 抽签一人一抽今天尘埃落定。从今年(财年2025)开始,H-1B 抽签名额以受益人,也就是员工为单位来计算。员工可以由多个雇主为其进行抽签注册,但中签率按照员工为基数,不按照抽签份数为基数。中签后,每个雇主都会被通知,员工可以选择由哪个雇主来完成后续的H-1B 申请工作。需要提醒,没有帮员工抽签的雇主不能基于员工的中签而为其进行首次 H-1B 申请。也就是说,抽签开放在3月,如果你中签了,在4月获得了新的工作offer,但新雇主因为并没有为你注册H-1B 抽签,则不能直接为你做首次H-1B 的申请。

今年H-1B 的抽签注册时间为3月6日到3月22日,开始和截至时间都以东部时间中午12点为准。

移民局今天还宣布了4月1日之后包括I-129, I-539, N-400 等表格的涨价。公司人数26人及以上的公司,I-129 的申请费涨为$780。公司人数25人及以下的公司,以及非营利性企业,I-129 的申请费保持$460。另外还征收Standard Asylum Program 费用。明年起H-1B 的抽签注册涨为$215(今年是$10)。

2024 H-1B 抽签、申请服务

就在刚刚(1/12/2024),移民局宣布就今年的H-1B 申请将推出”企业类账户“(organizational accounts),在该类账户下,企业可以统一管理H-1B 的员工抽签、提交、可以和律师协同作业等(估计用类似授权子账户的形式),还一并推出H-1B 网上提交服务。预计在2024年2月企业可以开始注册此类账户。适用于抽签和不需抽签的H-1B 申请者。

移民局会将最新进展更新至H-1B 注册的官网页面。注意2024年申请的是财政年(FY) 2025 的H-1B 名额,所以要等(FY) 2025的相关信息。
